Gour Chakraborty is a retired government officer and a widower. He lives with his son Joy, who is a wedding planner. Joy is so absorbed in his work that he hasn’t found time to marry, despite his father’s constant encouragement.

Gour, wanting companionship in his old age and hoping to see his son settled, takes it upon himself to find a suitable bride for Joy. At the same time, fate reconnects Gour with Kusum, a woman he once loved in his youth but was separated from due to circumstances.

The film gracefully explores themes of aging, loneliness, family bonds, love rekindled in old age, and the evolving dynamics between a father and his adult son.
